Voltline FAQ
Most first-hour problems are the same three things: the scooter is not powered on, it is out of battery, or it is stuck and needs recalling with H or from the phone's garage app. Early Testing means balance changes are frequent, so treat any number on this site as the current build's value.

Why won't my scooter move?
Nine times out of ten the scooter is simply not switched on. Mounting it with E does not start it.
- Check the power control on the scooter itself.
- If your model has an ignition key, turn it.
- As a fallback, open the phone with M and toggle the scooter's power from the companion app.
- Still dead? Check the charge — a flat battery looks identical to a broken scooter.
Why is my scooter stuck somewhere?
It clipped into geometry, which is a normal Early Testing occurrence rather than a bug you caused. Two fixes:
- Spam H to teleport it back to your position.
- Open the phone → Garage → pick the scooter → bring scooter to me.
Can you do wheelies?
Not really, in the current build. Players have tried holding the brake and Shift and the front of the scooter lifts briefly and drops. Treat it as a known gap rather than a technique you are failing at.
Are there police or speeding tickets?
Police vehicles exist in the city, and players describe them as rough around the edges in the current build — the sensible read is that they add pressure to speeding in traffic rather than being a fully finished system. Assume that riding flat out through a busy junction is riskier than the delivery pays for.
How fast can a scooter actually go?
It depends on the parts, and the dash will lie to you about the top end: some scooters stop displaying speed at 99 while continuing to accelerate. Players have read 121 mph in the tuning screen on a heavily upgraded build, versus roughly 60 on a stock scooter once it is warmed up. See parts and tuning for how to find your real number.
How do I make money fastest?
Deliveries, not riding. Open the phone, go into VoltDash, tap Go Online, and take the high-value offers — the best ones pay $450 and often place the pickup and drop-off close together. The full loop, including what to spend the money on, is on the money page.
Is Voltline on mobile or console?
No. The store page lists desktop while the game is in Early Testing. Everything on this site assumes a keyboard.
What does "Early Testing" mean for me?
The creator's own notice says to expect bugs, balance changes and unfinished areas. In practice:
- Prices, speeds and payouts can change with any update — the last one landed 4 October 2026.
- Some systems (police behaviour, wheelies comments from the community) are visibly unfinished.
- Advice that was correct a week ago can be wrong today, which is why every page here carries a verification date.
Do I need to buy anything to have fun?
No. Voltline is free, and all four passes are optional; two of them only speed up income you can earn anyway. If you want the honest shortlist, read game passes.
How often is this site updated?
Pages are re-checked against the live build when the creator pushes an update, and the date under the title moves with each pass. If a page disagrees with your build, tell us with a screenshot and it gets fixed — the build always wins.
